I saw Sherlock Holmes today.

It was absolutely brilliant. The characters, the music, the scenery, the witty interactions...amazing.

And I kept on noticing throughout the whole movie how similar Holmes and Watson were to House and Wilson from House MD. Well, House and Wilson are based on them, after all...but it was just too fun. Even the way the characters stood and motioned...when the camera zoomed in on Robert or when Jude made a gesture...they were so much like House and Wilson. And did I mention how slashable those two pairs are? *cough*

I also noticed they put in a lot of little bits that related to the books. I was so proud of myself when I spotted them.

Okay do I DIDN'T see Sherlock Holmes today. It was freaking SOLD OUT.

Guh. And I thought being there an hour in advance would be enough...

Anyway, we bought tickets to see it tomorrow instead. *EXCITEMENT LIEK WOAH.*

Did I mention I'm reading the stories right now? I found a HUUUGE book in my parents' room containing ALL of the Sherlock Holmes stories from The Strand as well as a novel. ♥

We went to the library today. Er...what WAS the library. Now they just have holds there, since it's being moved...and it's only open for certain hours of the day...it's messed up, since I can't go there until 7PM on weekdays, but it closes at 7...so today was the only day we could get our stuff. We picked up a BUNCH of Sherlock Holmes DVDs (the ones with Jeremy Brett, supposedly the best portrayal of Sherlock Holmes according to many), Silent Hill (the movie, as I'm really into the games right now), and the first three volumes of the manga 07 Ghost.

Got some cosplay stuff from Value Village for Spirit (Soul Eater) and Firo (Baccano!).

Picked up a continuation of Great Place High School (a yaoi manga book), which focuses more on the Student Council, from Borders. Also got a House MD calender for 50% off and a Ghirardelli Squares Holiday Chocolate Assortment pack for free, since it was 50% off and I had $5 in Borders bucks.

ALSO GOT A LOT OF COOL YUGIOH CARDS TODAY AND MADE A FIEND/FAIRY CARD DESTRUCTION DECK. IT'S AWESOME.

OMG I LOVE TALES. I know for sure they're my favorite video games of all time. (Meaning mostly Abyss and Symphonia, but I'm also working on Phantasia and am about done with Tales of Symphonia 2, and now Vesperia...)
